About The Program

Welcome to the 2024 Winter K-12 Leadership Symposium, a leading K-12 Education and Technology Conference taking place in Dallas. Engage with thought leaders, educators, and technology experts as we explore the most crucial topics shaping the educational landscape today. From digital literacy, social and emotional learning, to AI integration and inclusive education, this symposium is a vital platform for discovering actionable insights, sharing best practices, and collectively addressing the pressing challenges that define the future of K-12 education. Attendees will have the opportunity to enhance their leadership capabilities, fostering a community of educational leaders ready to navigate the evolving needs of our educational ecosystem. Don’t miss the chance to be part of this dynamic exchange, where ideas converge, solutions emerge, and leadership skills are honed for the benefit of K-12 education.

Topics Of Discussion

Have you ever wondered why we have more ways to communicate than ever before in the history of mankind, but we communicate less “face to face” more than any span of time in recent years. Have you ever taken the time to look at how easy it is to get hooked on the internet and how much access young children have at their fingertips. What can be done? How can we help? What is truly happening? We will explore different ways that your school district can address a portion of this issue. We will take a lot at searches for inappropriate items and help you potentially stop of school shooting or violent act in your community. We will also explore cries for help as it relates to mental health issues, thereby stopping a death by suicide.

Teachers can increase student outcomes, retention, and motivation by utilizing resources that reflect cultural communities that are both similar and different from students’ cultural communities. Materials that reflect individuals serve as mirrors while materials that present new information serve as windows. Creating mirrors and windows is beneficial to all students not just historically marginalized students.

In this Round Table, we will challenge existing perspectives by emphasizing the importance of executive leadership alongside academic leadership. While educators have successfully honed their skills in teaching students, the same level of attention is often not given to teaching and guiding our adult leaders.

Through thought-provoking conversations and valuable insights, we will explore the untapped potential of principals as executive leaders. Our aim is to debunk the misconception that academic leadership alone is sufficient and empower participants to embrace a more comprehensive approach to leading schools.

Join us and discover the indispensable value of executive leadership in fostering a holistic educational environment thriving on the collaboration and growth of both students and staff.

Director of Technology
Edmonds School District, WA

RTM continues to be a special conference that connects me with peers throughout the country, challenges me to think in new ways, and connects me with potential partners that often meet my needs really well. The RTM team is responsive and supportive, and the partnerships with vendors are invaluable - whether we leverage them or not. As long as the invite keeps coming, I will continue to attend

Director of Innovation & Technology
Avon Grove School District, PA

RTM delivers an inspiring, impeccably run, thought-provoking event through a variety of learning formats that inspires leaders to collaborate and innovate to promote student success. The CIO conference was unlike any technology learning experience I have attended.

Chief of Assessment, Research, and Accountability
Grand Island Public Schools, NB

On the first day, I felt like an ice cube that melted in the sun. On the second day, my cheeks actually hurt from smiling. On the third day, I was so amazed that I couldn’t sleep. I’m telling you the truth: this conversation that we had across three days has been a career-defining move for me, and I’m so thankful. Relationships that matter! Relationships, trust, meaning. RTM!

Assistant Superintendent
Murray Schools, UT

RTM Conference was well planned, well organized, and provided a great opportunity to connect with educational colleagues and business partners from around the country. I have a better understanding of what tools are out there to help support student and teachers in education, and better insight into what other districts in the country are doing to tackle the challenges of public education today, thanks to this conference.
